1. On regular school days grades K-6 will eat lunch starting at 11:00 in a staggered schedule. Junior High and High School will eat lunch from 12:00-12:20.

2. Students are allowed to bring their own drinks for lunch. Lunch and specified break times are the only times that students may have drinks other than water.

3. Students will need to bring a sack lunch with them to school on regular (full-length) school days. We do not have a lunch period on short days when we release at 12:30 PM.

4. However, there are certain recurring opportunities for students to purchase their lunch at school in lieu of bringing a sack lunch from home.

a) Every Monday they may order wraps from the Warehouse Market.

b) Every other Tuesday they may order chicken fingers from David’s Catfish for $7.

c) Every Friday they may order pizza from Pizza Hut for $2.

d) ACS will send home an order sheet in the first Tuesday communication envelope of the month so a family may order and pay for the entire month.

5. There are microwaves provided for students to cook items brought for lunch. Students are expected to form orderly lines and patiently wait their turn to use the microwave.

6. Students will not be permitted to leave the school campus to go to lunch.
